Kilo Deli is a cafe near Ala Moana Center. Their specialty is salt bread but they have it in different flavors with fillings in them. The original salt bread is extra buttery and crisp on the bottom. The sausage is good if you want protein with your bread and it adds more flavor. I thought the matcha salt bread was the best one. The bread was moist and the matcha flavor in the matcha cream was strong. I tasted matcha in every bite and the cream was in the center too. The breads are priced between $4 - $8 which is pricey. They make a limited amount of salt bread each day so go early for the best selection. Beside the bread they also offer matcha, hojicha, fruit teas, and coffees.
Their interior space is large and it's a nice spot to hang out with friends. They have a lot of tables and chairs and comfy couches with coffee tables. You can order from a staff or use the self service tablet and pay with a card. When you order from the tablet, you get to see what's available and the sold out items are greyed out. Depending on how busy they are, it may take 5 - 10 minutes to prep your order. The parking lot is shared with other businesses but I went on a Sunday morning and I found an open space.
