Chukaya Sea Dragon Table - CLOSED

They are located at the corner of S King and Kaheka Street where Jin Din Rou used to be. They have kept the interior of the restaurant the same. Some of the dishes are very similar to what was on Jin Din Rou's menu but the taste is different. Their signature dish is the dragon ball soup. I recommend trying it. They have xiao long bao but the dumplings didn't have any soup in them. My favorite dishes were the kakuni steamed buns and the crabmeat fried rice because they had the most flavor. The prices of all their dishes are reasonable. If you're coming with a small group (4 or less), you can just walk in. They have parking in the back of the restaurant.

Ani's Bake Shop

This is a local bakery in Aiea. They are known for their pies which are sold in the supermarkets. Here, you'll find their butter cream rolls. The rolls come in all different fruit flavors. My favorite is the guava butter cream roll. The bread is very moist and soft but the guava butter cream in the center makes it even better. The rolls are only sold buy the dozen and they cost about $9. I recommend going early because the good flavors do sell out fast. If you're not a fan of butter cream rolls, they also sell pastries and pies. They accept credit cards and they have parking stalls right in front of the shop so you don't need to park on the street.

Pho Saigon

This is a Vietnamese restaurant in the Ala Moana area on the opposite side of MW Restaurant. The interior of the restaurant is still very new and it's kept clean. The pho section of the menu is a little strange. You choose your pho but they charge depending on how many toppings are in it and you cannot duplicate toppings. So if you love rare steak, you can't get two orders of it. They have a lot of items on their menu so if you don't like pho you can order vermicelli or rice plates. The portions are decent but the prices are high.

I went on a week day for lunch and I was seated in a few minutes. The restaurant does get busy and the noise level goes up. They have limited parking spaces and if you go past MW, you'll end up having to pay for valet which is $4. If you want to get out of the mall for a sit down meal, I would recommend trying this place.
