Molokai Hot Bread

Molokai Hot Bread is available on Oahu! Their food truck is selling the same bread you'll get a Kanemitsu Bakery on Molokai. They started adding more stops in Honolulu last weekend so I was able to get some. It's a huge round loaf of bread that gets cut in half and you can choose up to 4 fillings; $1 per filling. You can also buy the bread plain for $8. I've always enjoyed the strawberry and cream cheese. If you're feeling adventurous, get "da works" which consists of strawberry, blueberry, cinnamon, butter, and cream cheese.

If you want some hot bread, follow them on instagram or facebook to see where they'll be during the week. Their truck is gray colored and they accept cash and card. Depending on what location you go to, the wait could be long so go right when they open.

bills Waikiki - CLOSED

If you're in the Waikiki area, bills Waikiki is a good spot for brunch. They are located on Beachwalk in the same building as Hard Rock Cafe. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and it's brightly lit and breezy. I recommend the Full Aussie because it's got a little bit of everything (meat, eggs, veggies, toast). The ricotta hotcakes are also very good. The items are pricey but they give a big portion. The staff are friendly and they keep your water glasses filled.

If you're a local, show your state ID/driver licenses to get a kamaaina discount. For parking, bills Waikiki will give you 2 hours validation if you park in the Bank of Hawaii building underground parking right across.
