Yuzu - take 2 - CLOSED

I returned with a few friends who were regulars at this restaurant. When I looked at the menu, they had a lot more items from before. Since my friends come often for dinner, I let them do the ordering.

Most of the items we had were really delicious. My favorites of the night were the grilled squid and the veggie sampler. I highly recommend the veggie sample because the presentation of the sushi will blow you away. There was one piece that looked like ahi but it was actually tomato and another one that looked like uni but it was carrot and tofu.

CGee's Lunches - CLOSED

If you want Hawaiian food, this is where you want to be. On Friday's they have the Hawaiian plate but you have to go by 12:30pm or they run out of food. They're in the heart of downtown and they're open for breakfast and lunch. There are a few tables inside if you want to eat in but most of the customers do take out.  The line is long sometimes but it moves really quick. They only accept cash.

Sushi ii

The first time I came here, they were closed. I checked yelp and it said they were open for lunch so I brought some out of town friends and when we got there the lights were off. I was so disappointed. I went back recently and I made a reservation for dinner.

You should only come here if you want sushi and sashimi. They phased out half of their menu. Most of the cooked items and desserts are not available. You can still get a few of the cooked items which are written on the black board behind the cashier.

The interior of this restaurant is very nice. The service is a bit slow and since there is only one chef making sushi, it does take awhile. The cooked foods didn't have much taste and they were very oily. I heard great reviews about this place when they first opened but now, I don't think they're so great anymore.

Royal Kitchen

If you're looking for a warm and soft baked manapua (bao), this is the place you want to be. They sell a variety of baked manapuas. Some of their fillings are char siu, lup cheong, chicken, kalua pork, and okinawan sweet potato. You can see the full list on their website. Their best seller is the char siu manapua but the pork hash and rice cake are also very good.

You can parking in the lot behind the shop. They will validate if you make a purchase. Don't stay in the parking lot too long because if you go over 1 hour, it gets really expensive.
